Iowa Beats Truman State In Exhibition Play

The Iowa men took control late in the opening half and raced away to 118-72 win over Truman State in exhibition play.

Kris Murray had 24 points and Connor McCaffery triggered the first half run with four three pointers. The Hawkeyes were 14 of 25 from behind the arc.

Five different Hawkeyes scored in double figures and McCaffery feels depth will be a strength of this team.

The Hawkeyes open the regular season next Monday against Bethune-Cookman.
