Iowa Defense Previews Penn State

Iowa City, Iowa — Iowa safety Kaevon Merriweather credits preparation for the Hawkeyes’ nation leading 12 interceptions.

The third ranked Hawkeyes have 16 turnovers in all as they prepare to host fourth rated Penn State.

Merriweather says it is about being in the right position.

Merriweather says Penn State has a talented offense.

Junior defensive end John Waggoner says the Hawkeyes have faced several dual threat quarterbacks this season and Penn State’s Sean Clifford is another one.

Waggoner says it is about disrupting the pocket and not necessarily getting the sack.
