Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says defensive tackle Noah Shannon has been suspended for the season as part of a gambling investigation.
Shannon announced in July he was skipping Big Ten Media Days due to his involvement in the probe.
Ferentz says Iowa officials will appeal Shannon’s suspension.
