Des Moines Iowa — The Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-State Volleyball Teams and all class Elite Team have been released. Highlighting the areas accolades was Western Christian senior Ashtyn Veerbeek who was named to the Elite All-State Team along with a first team nod in 2A.
Katie Peters of LeMars Gehlen was named to the 1A first team. Teammate Katelyn Langel was named to the second team with third team honors for Chloe Bunkers.
In Class 2A Corrina Timmermans of Unity was named to the first team along with Veerbeek. Jessi DeJager of Western was named to the second team along with Jori Bronner of Unity.A spot on the third team went to Hallie Reuter of Hinton.
In Class 3A Alexis Toering of Sioux Center was named to the first team. Teammate Jordyn VanMaanen was named to the third team.
