Des Moines — The Siouxland, War Eagle and Lakes Conferences are well represented on the IHSBCA all district teams.
In Class 1A Remsen St Mary’s put Four players on the Northwest District first team. They included Pitcher Blaine Harpenau, catcher Skyler Waldschmitt, shortstop Derrick Schorg and outfielder Carter Kuchel.
Akron Westfield put pitcher AJ Nemesio and second baseman Quinn Bundy on the first team. LeMars Gehlen is represented by third baseman Lucas McCarty.

2018 All-District Baseball Team Class 1A (1)
In Class 2A West Lyon had five first teamers. They included pitcher Noah Van’t Hof, catcher Monte Pottebaum, shortstop Jaden Snyder, third baseman Josh Van Beek and outfielder Tanner Oleson.
Unity had second baseman Micah Goslinga named to the first team. West Sioux is represented by Hunter Dekkers while Sioux Center is represented by Isaac Vietor. Both were named to utility spots.

2018 All-District Baseball Team Class 2A (1)
In Class 3A the first team included a pair of Boyden Hull Rock Valley Nighthawks. Pitcher Zach Noble earned a first team spot along with Cade Moser who earned a utility spot on the first team. Out of the Lakes Conference shortstop Gabe Eckstaine from LeMars earned a first team spot along with outfielder Brady Kluender of Spencer.
