Iowa hosts No. 2 Purdue on Saturday

The Iowa Hawkeye men put a three game winning streak on the line Saturday at home against second ranked Purdue. These teams met back in early December and it was not competitive as the Boilers posted an 87-68 win, a game Purdue led by as may as 32 points.

That’s Iowa coach Fran McCaffery who says the Boilers are tough to defend.

A big part of Iowa’s three-game win streak is the play of sophomore guard Josh Dix. The Council Bluffs native had a career-high 16 points in a win over Nebraska and followed that up with a career-high 21 in a win at Minnesota.

Dix on what the Hawkeyes need to do better in this game.
