Iowa Rallies To Beat Indiana At B1G Baseball Tournament

The Iowa baseball team is two wins away from the Big Ten Tournament title.

John Leo On the Hawkeye Network. Sam Peterson’s three run homer in the top of the ninth capped a 9-4 victory over Indiana, a game Iowa trailed 4-1 in the seventh inning.

Kyle Huckstorf’s bases loaded double capped a four run seventh and gave Iowa a 5-4 lead.

That was Huckstorf on the postgame show on the Big Ten Network. Iowa survived a shaky start from starting pitcher Brody Brecht as the Hoosiers scored two runs in the first and added another in the second inning.

The Hawkeyes are 41-13 and return to action Saturday morning against the winner of Friday’s game between Michigan and Indiana. They need one victory on Saturday to advance to Sunday’s title game.
