Iowa State plays Ohio State on Friday night in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in Tulsa. The Cyclones are the sixth seed after winning the Big-12 Tournament. ISU coach Steve Prohm says a healthy Marial Shayok was a key in Kansas City.
Prohm says the Cyclones picked up their defense in the Big-12 Tournament and that needs to continue.
Sophomore guard Lindell Wigginton says playing in Tulsa will allow the Cyclone fans to travel.
Tip off is at 8:50 pm Friday night.
