Sioux Center and Iowa City, Iowa (RI) – Iowa tight end Hayden Large says as a transfer from an NAIA school he feels like he has something to prove and the Hawkeyes also feel that way as a team.
Large has played tight end as well as fullback and has appeared in 26 games the past two seasons after starting his college career at Dordt University in Sioux Center.
Large says the Hawkeyes feel like they have something to prove after finishing 8-5 last season.
Iowa opens next season at home on August 30th against the University of Albany.
