Iowa vs Nebraska Preview

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says Scott Frost was a perfect fit for Nebraska.

The Hawkeyes and Huskers close the regular season with a Black Friday contest in Kinnick Stadium.

Former Hawkeyes offensive lineman Eric Chinander is the defensive coordinator for Nebraska.

Ferentz says the Hawkeyes want to send a small group of 14 seniors out with a win in their final home game.

Ferentz says the Huskers have been a different team the second half of the season.

Nebraska will try to cap off a late season surge with a Black Friday victory at Iowa.

After opening 0-6 the Huskers have won four of their last five after a 9-6 win over Michigan State.

For Frost it is his first matchup against Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz.

Frost says the Iowa defense is very similar to Michigan State’s.

Frost says the rivalry aspect of this game is more for the fans than the players and coaches.

Kick off is at 11 am at Kinnick Stadium.
