Iowa’s Kirk Ferentz on the Hawkeye offense

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says while the offense may have changes the philosophy remains the same. New offensive coordinator Tim Lester is installing his offense this spring hoping to breathe life into a unit that scored only 20 touchdowns in a 14-game season.

Ferentz says Iowa’s focus on defense and special teams will remain.

Ferentz says Lester has been a good fit for the program.

The Hawkeyes close spring drills with an open practice on April 20th.
