Iowa’s Reece Vander Zee previews the Cy-Hawk game

Iowa receiver Reece Vander Zee is looking forward to Saturday night’s Cy-Hawk showdown in Kinnick Stadium. Vander Zee missed last year’s 16-13 Iowa State victory in Ames with a foot injury.

Iowa had 289 yards of rushing in a season opening win over Northern Illinois and Vander Zee says that will be a key against the Cyclones.*

Vander Zee says it is difficult to scout ISU’s brand new defense.

Iowa had better than 500 yards of offense last week but Vander Zee says there is plenty of room for improvement in red zone and goal line offense.
