ISU vs Texas Tech Preview

Iowa State coach Matt Campbell says the bye week came at the right time for his team.

The Cyclones take a 3-3 record into their homecoming game against Texas Tech.

It also came at the right time for freshman quarterback Brock Purdy who will make his second start this week.

Even though he won’t be the starter Campbell says he wants Kyle Kempt to get himself ready to play when he returns from injury. Kemp was injured in a season opening loss at Iowa.

Known for high scoring offense Campbell says Texas Tech has showed marked improvement on defense.

Kick off is at 11:00 am at Jack Trice Stadium.
