Jenness Wins Doane Open

The Red Raiders performed well Saturday at the Doane University Open. it was the first time they were on the mat since their dual loss to Briar Cliff on November 20.

The Raiders earned 15 falls on the day as a team. That number more than doubled the 13 the Raiders had on the season to date. The aggressive mindset paid off big for NWC.

Luke Jenness lead the way for his second tournament of the season. His two pins in his first two matches set the tone for his final two matches. He was able to get up early in the semi-final match and hold of Ben Lee from Grand View. Then he jumped up early again the 1st place match and got up early on Jason Watkins of Concordia.

Brady Childers, Tyler Zeimen, Noah Kryfka, and Alex Kleider all earned 3 wins on the day.
