As spring practice winds down at Iowa senior corner Jermari Harris is happy to be back on the field.
After playing in 13 games and recording four interceptions in 2021 Harris missed all of last season with an injury and his return will help offset the loss of veteran corner Riley Moss.
Despite not being on the field Harris felt he made progress mentally last season.
He rejoins a defense that looks to replace some key players like Moss and linebacker Jack Campbell.
Junior defensive back Cooper DeJean says the return of Harris is a welcomed addition for the defense.
The Hawkeyes close out spring drills on Saturday.
