Kati Kneifl GPAC Field Athlete of the Week

Kati_KneiflSioux City Iowa — Kati Kneifl of Morningside is this week’s GPAC field athlete-of-the-week. Kneifl, a sophomore from Sheldon took first place at the Dordt Invitational with a distance of 138-5 in the javelin. That is the fifth best mark in the NAIA so far this season and made her an automatic qualifier for nationals. The Nationals will be held at Gulf Shores Alabama May 25th through the 27th.

Aside from her victory in the javelin, Kneifl finished fifth in the long jump with a distance of 16-5.
