Lexington, Kentucky — Kentucky coach Mark Stoops will face his alma mater on New Year’s Day when Kentucky takes on Iowa in the Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
Mark was the youngest of the three Stoops brothers who played for the Hawkeyes in the 80s.
Stoops remembers traveling to watch his brothers play.
Stoops played for the Hawkeyes when Kirk Ferentz was an assistant coach.
