KIWA NFL Picks – Week 6

(KIWA Staff Photo)

The NFL regular season has reached Week Six, and the four of us at KIWA continue to square off and predict winners from across the league.

Our panel features past competitors Nathan Broek, Anna Stallman, and Sam Heyn, along with newcomer Jason Muecke. The group makes selections for every matchup — from Thursday Night Football through Monday Night Football — with totals tracked throughout the season.

Week Five was absolute chaos.

After three different overtime games, the Giants and Commanders recorded the NFL’s first tie of the season, leaving each member of the panel with a tie on their season record. Beyond that, Nate and Sam had the best week, going 9-5 overall. Following that was Jason at an 8-6 record, and Anna going .500 on the week at 7-7.

Several lone picks paid off during Week Five. Sam correctly called upset victories by the Steelers and Packers, while Nate was the only panelist to pick the 49ers over the Seahawks. Jason also scored a key point by backing the Jets against Cleveland.

Through five weeks, Nate holds a one-game lead over Sam atop the standings. Anna moves to third, while Jason gained a little ground on the pack.

View every selection made by the crew in Week Five.

Week Six Features:

Seattle vs. Denver on Thursday Night Football.
An AFC South showdown between Houston and Jacksonville Sunday morning at Wembley Stadium in London.
Five divisional matchups across the noon and afternoon Sunday slates.
Washington at San Francisco on Monday Night Football.

Teams on Bye Week:

Cincinnati Bengals
Detroit Lions
Miami Dolphins
Minnesota Vikings

Each week, we’ll post our picks, update the standings, and highlight the best selections from the crew. Follow along throughout the season at kiwaradio.com.
