Senior Kati Kneifl of Sheldon jumped up the Track and Field Results Reporting System for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Friday and Saturday, April 19 and 20.
Kneifl’s Morningside school-record javelin toss of 154 feet, six inches at Doane College’s Jim Dutcher Memorial bolted her to the top of the national performance list while winning the event by better than 19 feet.
Morningside continues its slate with competition at the Mount Marty Invitational Wednesday, April 24, and several events qualified for the Drake Relays Thursday through Saturday, April 25-27.
