Former Iowa star Kris Murray was introduced in Portland over the weekend, two days after being drafted by the Trail Blazers with the 23rd pick in the NBA Draft.
Murray says he was thrilled to be drafted by Portland.
Murray says returning to Iowa for his junior season was the right decision. He averaged better than 20 points and nearly eight rebounds last season.
Murray says his next chore is to carve out a role on the team.
