Kerri Kroeze, a senior at Unity Christian High School, has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender golf program.
“We are very happy that Kerri has chosen to attend Dordt University and join our golf program. She is a very consistent player with a great short game and has the ability to immediately make an impact on the team,” said Dordt coach Jon Crane.
Kroeze carries a 43 average for nine-hole competitions. She was a second-team all-conference pick in 2018 and a first-team all-conference selection in 2019. The 2020 season was canceled. Kroeze was a part of state qualifying team in both 2018 and 2019 and helped Unity to a pair of fourth-place finishes at the meet.
“I have always wanted to attend a Christian college close to home and continue to play golf. The coaches and professors at Dordt have been very welcoming and helpful in my decision-making. I am thankful for the opportunity and excited to start next fall,” said Kroeze.
Kerri is the daughter of Rob and Julia Kroeze of Orange City, Iowa. She plans to study in the Business Administration/Administrative Assistant programs.
