Cherokee Iowa — LeMars won the boys team title at the Cherokee invite Tuesday 160 – 114 over the Sheldon Orabs. In the girls competition it was Spencer besting the Orabs 148 – 119.
For the Bulldogs their relay teams were key as they took first place in the 4 x 100, 200, 400 and the shuttle hurdle relay. First place finishes for the Orabs came from Jaden Kleinhesselink in the 800 and Darin Greenfield in the 110 hurdles. Sheldon relay teams won the 4 x 800 and the 1600 distance medley.

Multiple winners in the girls competition included Kassidy De Jong of Unity in the 800 and 1500. Western won the 4 x 200 and 400 with Unity taking the 800 sprint medley and 1600 distance medley. Sheldon had a first place finish in the 400 shuttle hurdle relay. Individually Bryn Groff won the 110 meters with Anna Marie Fjeld first in the 3200.
