Rock Rapids Iowa — Central Lyon/George Little Rock cruised to a 52-7 win at Dick Null field in Rock Rapids Friday night,
The Lions got their first points of the game on a Graham Eben 40 yard punt return to make it 6-0 early in the game Late in the first Kaden Van Berkum would punch it in from 1 yard out to make it 12-0 and Zach Lutmer would scamper 25 yards to make it 19-0 with just over a minute to go in the opening frame.
The Lions scored three times in the second quarter to maker it 39-0 heading into the half.
Central Lyon/George-Little Rock opened the scoring of the second half and put points on the board in the final minutes of the game.
The lone points from Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley came from Nathan Van Otterloo finding Eric Nilles from 27 yards out to break the shut out, 52-7.
With the win Central Lyon/George Little Rock improves to 1-0 on the year. Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley falls to 0-1 and will host Western Christian in Rock Valley Friday night.
