Iowa City, Iowa — College wrestling’s winningest programs will collide Saturday night at the home of the Texas Rangers when Iowa duals Oklahoma State in the Bout at the Ballpark.
The Cowboys have won 34 national championship and the Hawkeyes have claimed 24. Iowa is 12-1 and ranked second.
That’s Iowa coach Tom Brands. Back in 2015 Oklahoma State visited Iowa for the Grapple on the Gridiron in Kinnick Stadium and Brands says there was no hesitation to be part of this event.
Brands says the Hawkeyes are thrilled to be part of something this big.
