Nagel to Play Basketball at Northwestern

Lucas Nagel of Little Rock  has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College next year.

Nagel is a 6’3″ forward who had a spectacular four-year career playing for the George-Little Rock Mustangs. As a senior, Nagel averaged 12 points, 7 rebound and 4.5 assists per contest while shooting an impressive 55% from the field and nearly 50% from 3. Stuffing the stat sheets and leading the Mustangs to a 20-4 record, he earned first-team all-conference and was a member of the all-substate team as a senior. Nagel excels in the classroom, where he earned academic all-district and all-conference as a senior. He plans to major in Ag. Business and Biology: Ecological Science at Northwestern College.
