The NCC Thunder Sports Shooting Team began their 2020-2021 virtual competition season on Saturday, September 5 against Southwestern Community College.
NCC lost the competition 462 to 426. The top 5 scores for NCC student-athletes were:
1. Caden Berte – 89
2. Levi Hemmelrick – 87
3. Sam Freitag – 85
4. Carmen Vermeer – 84
5. Alex Wilson – 81
Coach Brian Lauck said, “It was good to get back to the range. The athletes were nervous at the beginning, but worked into a groove and made good progress.”
