Fort Dodge, Iowa — The firepower of Davenport Assumption was too much for the Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley Nighthawks as Davenport Assumption won a 15-0 contest in three innings Tuesday afternoon at Harlan Rogers Sports Complex in Fort Dodge.
The Nighthawks threatened to score early in the top of the first but were unable to capitalize with runners in scoring position. The Knights responded with 5 runs in the bottom of the first, then added another ten runs in the second, highlighted by a grand slam by Maddie Loken.
With the win Davenport Assumption improves to 20-5 and advances to the 3A semifinals. BHRV ends the year at 14-3
