Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz is concerned about depth in the secondary as the 14th ranked Hawkeyes host Middle Tennessee State. With four defensive backs injured the Hawkeyes may be forced to play three linebackers against the Blue Raiders spread attack.
Ferentz says Middle Tennessee quarterback Asher O’Hara can break contain and run.
Iowa needs more of a push rush. The Hawkeyes have only three sacks in three games.
