No. 2 Iowa Hosts Purdue

Iowa City, Iowa — Iowa’s number two national ranking has put the Hawkeyes in the spotlight but it has also placed as target on their back.

The Hawks take a 6-0 record into a game against a Purdue team that has won three of the last four in the series.

That’s Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz. Purdue has featured Jack Plummer and Aidan O’Donnell at quarterback. Ferentz says they have prepared to face both.

The Iowa defense has a chore trying to cover standout receiver David Bell who had three touchdowns in Purdue’s win a year ago.
