No. 20 Iowa Hosts Rutgers In Big Ten Opener

The Iowa Hawkeyes host Rutgers in their earliest Big Ten opener in program history. The Scarlet Knights will be out to snap a 12 game Big Ten losing streak which dates back to a November fourth 2017 win over Maryland.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz says with Texas Tech transfer Carter McLane at quarterback it was a much improved team that rolled to a season opening win over UMass.

Ferentz says McLane has opened up the Rutgers offense.

Ferentz says McLane has helped jump start their offense.

Kick off is at 11 am at Kinnick Stadium.
