The fifth ranked Iowa basketball team has shifted its attention to Northwestern.
The Hawkeyes Thursday game against Michigan State because of COVID issues with the Spartans. It was the Hawkeyes first schedule interruption of the season.
That’s Iowa coach Fran McCaffery. The Northwestern game was originally scheduled for Monday night but now will tip at 11am Sunday and be televised by CBS.
McCaffery says they are looking at a number of options for making up the Michigan State game, including the possibility of playing the Spartans twice in a week.
