[Sheldon, IA] — Northwest Iowa Community College (NCC) proudly announces that its student-athletes have been honored with Academic All-Region recognition for the Fall semester of 2023 by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC). This prestigious accolade highlights the exceptional academic achievements of NCC’s student-athletes, underlining their dedication to excellence both in athletics and academics.
More than 1,500 student-athletes across the conference have been named to the First Team for achieving a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or above, with NCC students prominently among them. Additionally, over 850 student-athletes have earned Second Team status, with GPAs ranging from 3.0 to 3.49, including NCC’s dedicated scholars.
