Northwestern 4th; Dordt 16th In Final NAIA Women’s Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Concordia (Neb.) continues to claim the No. 1 spot the latest NAIA DII Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Final Top 25 Poll. The Bulldogs received all 12 first-place votes and 312 total points.

Northwestern College closes out the season ranked fourth in the final NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Coaches’ poll released today by the national office.

Ranked second in the three previous polls, Northwestern dropped two spots after losing to then-No.4 Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) in the GPAC semifinals last weekend. The Red Raiders own a 26-4 record and totaled 281 points.

Dordt ends their year ranked 16th, falling three spots after falling to then 15th ranked Hastings in the GPAC quarterfinals. The Defenderes own a 20-11 record and totaled 187 points.
