Northwestern Remains #5, Dordt Receives Votes In Latest NAIA Football Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Morningside (Iowa) collected their eighth win of the season on Saturday keeping the Mustangs in the driver’s seat of the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. The top ten teams remained the same from the previous poll (October 28).

No. 1 Morningside received all 17 first-place votes this week. The Mustangs post a current record of 8-0 overall and 7-0 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.

Northwestern maintains their #5 ranking after defeating Briar Cliff last week and own a perfect 8-0 record and 7-0 in the GPAC. Northwestern and Morningside will collide at the final game of the regular season on November 16th at Northwestern. Dordt continues to receive votes after dominating Hastings last Saturday 70-28. Dordt’s three losses have been to #1 Morningside, #5 Northwestern, and #10 Keiser.
