Northwestern College climbed one spot while Dordt fell two spots in this week’s edition of the NAIA D-II Women’s Basketball Coaches’ poll released Tuesday.
Ranked third in the Jan. 8 poll, Northwestern climbed to second in the coaches rating with a 19-2 overall record. The Red Raiders defeated two ranked teams last week, including a win over previous No.1 Dakota Wesleyan last Wednesday. Dordt fell two spots to 14th after dropping two straight to previous No.1 Dakota Wesleyan and 8th ranked Morningside.
Concordia took over the top spot this week, earning 12 first place votes, followed by Northwestern (2), Indiana Tech (3), Dakota Wesleyan (4) and Southeastern (5).
