NWC Football Welcomes Menage As Offensive Coordinator

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Head football coach Matt McCarty announced today, Monday, March 7, the hiring of Jake Menage as the next offensive coordinator of the Raider football program.

Menage comes to Northwestern after a three-year stint as wide receivers and tight ends coach at National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NCAA) Division I Northern Illinois University (NIU), members of the Mid-American Conference (MAC).

“We are thrilled to have Coach Menage join our staff. Under his leadership our offense will be able to hit the ground running and continue to build on what we have in place,” said McCarty. “He was a part of a very successful staff at Northern Illinois and will be a great asset for our program.”

Prior to joining the Huskies, he spent the 2018 season on staff of Scott Underwood at Southwest Minnesota State University, NCAA Division II and members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).

“I am honored and blessed to be joining the staff at Northwestern College. I want to thank Coach McCarty, Dr. Parker, and President Christy for giving me this opportunity,” says Menage. “I am looking forward to building on the great success the football team has had and glorifying God in doing so!”

Menage is a 2017 graduate of South Dakota State University (SDSU) where he earned a degree in Physical Education, while playing football for the Jackrabbits under head coach John Stiegelmeier. After graduating, he spent the spring season as a volunteer coach of the SDSU football team.
