CRETE, Neb. — The Northwestern College women’s track and field team took home 13 All-Conference honors at the 2022 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Indoor Championships, led by freshman Kennedy Kramer and her gold medal performance in the 400m.
Two marks alone today hit the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) “A” standard – Kramer’s 400m (57.08) and Abigail Clarke’s 600m (1:36.94). Two other performances hit the NAIA “B” standard in Erin Hulberg’s pole vault (3.42m) and Morgan Marker’s mile (5:14.89).
The Raiders had one first-place finish, one second-place finish, four third-place finishes, one fourth-place finish, three fifth- and seventh-place finishes on the day.
The women took home a fifth-place team finish with 65 team points, fitting snuggly ahead of sixth-place Morningside who tallied 38 points.
