Sheldon Iowa — Coming up on August 23rd the Sheldon Orab Football Program would like to host an alumni showcase for former players and “Friends of the Orabs” (Non-Alumni) who would like to participate in the evenings activities. It’s an opportunity to get out and play one more time on Orab Field in a little 7 on 7 football game.
The format details will be ironed out once the amount of interest is determined. Initially, the thought is a “mock” 2 quarter game (15 min running clock) for each division to showcase their talents. Two divisions will be able to play at a time.
The Cost is only $10 dollars to cover the cost of the T-shirt. Four divisions for participants will include: Non-Alumni followed by four alumni classes that will be made divided up by graduation year. Forever Orabs (Grad classes of 2014-2019). Great Day to be an Orab (Grad classes of 2009-2013). Orabs United (Grad classes of 1999-2008) and Golden Orabs Division (Grad classes of 1998 and earlier.
