Sioux Center Iowa — Sheldon scored the final three touchdowns of the ballgame to claim a 32-14 win in Sioux Center Friday night. With the win Sheldon is 4-2 on the year and 1-1 in the district. The Warriors are 2-4 on the season and also 1-1 in the district.

Sheldon scored on their first possession of the game going 80 yards. Operating out of the wildcat Tyler Lode ran for an 8 yard score. Brian Bernal added the extra point and the Orabs were up 7-0 with 4:50 left in the first quarter.
Sioux Center responded with a 62 yard drive capped by a 2 yard Sam Vonk touchdown run. Damon Walhof added the extra point and it was tied at 7-7 with :39 seconds left in the first quarter.
The Orabs recovered a muffed punt at the Warriors 20 yard line and turned that into points when Brian Bernal scored from a yard out. Bernal added the extra point and Sheldon led 14-7 with 10:15 left in the half.
Once again Sioux Center answered with a 63 yard drive. Vonk scored his second touchdown of the night from 11 yards out and with Walhof’s extra point it was tied at 14-14 with 6:14 left in the half.
Sheldon would take the lead for good with 1:40 left in the half. An outstanding special teams play by the Warriors left the Orabs first and ten at their own 1 yard line. On the first play Brennan Radke found Cody Vaselaar up the left sideline on a fly pattern for 99 yards and the score. The kick was no good but the Orabs were up 20-14 at half time.
Sheldon finished the scoring with a pair of second half touchdowns. Trent Van Meeteren picked off a pass at the Sioux Center 20. That was turned into points when Lode in at running back scored on a 9 yard run. The kick was no good and Sheldon was up 26-14 with 8:51 left in the third.
The Orabs closed out the scoring on a 16 yard pass from Radke to Dakota Johannes. The kick was no good and the lead was 32-14 with 4:20 left to play.
