Pennings To Run Track At Northwestern

Carter Pennings of Orange City has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field career at Northwestern College next year.

Pennings competed the last two years for the MOC-Floyd Valley track and field team heading into his final season this spring. Pennings, an academic all-conference selection, has a personal best of 1:02 in the 400m hurdles. A member of the National Honor Society, Pennings plans to major in Biology / Health Professions at Northwestern. He is the son of Craig and Leah.

“We are thrilled that Carter is continuing his track and field career at Northwestern,” said head coach Scott Bahrke. “He is a hard worker and will continue to improve under Coach Vander Ploeg in the hurdle events.”
