The Red Raider wrestling program is receiving votes in the most recent NAIA Wrestling Coaches’ Preseason Top 20 Poll.
The Raiders earned 21 points in the poll and that placed them just behind Briar Cliff who has 22 points.
Individually the Raiders have two wrestlers ranked in their respective weight classes.
Andrew Null leads the way for NWC as he is ranked 3rd nationally at the 165 pound weight class. He is 11-1 on the year and has 20 takedowns and 8 4-point near falls.
Luke Jenness is ranked 18th at the 184 pound weight class. He is 17-5 on the year and has 137 total match points. He has 42 takedowns and has already won two tournaments.
The Raiders hop back on the mat on January 16 as they travel to the Missouri Invite Tournament where there are over 50 teams competing in the two day event.
