Red Raider named GPAC Volleyball Player-of-the-Week

Sioux City, Iowa – A player from Northwestern College in Orange City has been named a Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Volleyball Player-of-the-Week as announced by the GPAC Tuesday, Sept. 17th.

Jazlin Douma of the Red Raiders was the player named as this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Douma, a senior, from Orange City, led the Red Raiders in kills in a 2-0 week for the nation’s top-ranked team. She collected 33 kills in two matches for a 5.50 kills/set average and a .333 hitting percentage. Douma also recorded two double-doubles as she had 21 digs on the week. In addition, she collected six blocks and a service ace.
