Northwestern College moved up two spots in this week’s edition of the NAIA Men’s Golf Coaches’ poll released by the national office.
Ranked 22nd in the initial poll of the spring season, the Red Raiders moved up to 20th in the March 22 edition, moving past William Woods (Mo.) and Tennessee Wesleyan. Northwestern, under the direction of Head Coach Aaron Aberson, is the highest ranked GPAC team and one of two from the conference represented in the poll (Morningside – 23).
The Red Raiders won their first meet of the spring season, taking home the team title at the two-day, 36-hole Eagle Spring Classic last week. They will play in the two-day Lawrence Tech Invite next weekend (March 29-30) at the TPC Deere Run in Moline, Ill.
