Rens Signs With NWC Golf

Marcus Rens, of Hull, has signed a letter of intent to continue his golf career at Northwestern College next fall.

Rens is a 2017 graduate of Boyden-Hull High School and lettered four years for the Comet golf team. A two-time all-conference selection, Rens helped lead his team to a fifth place finish at the state tournament as a senior. He has a personal best of 37 on nine holes. Rens plans to major in elementary education at Northwestern and is the son of Char and Leon.

“We are excited to have Marcus join the Red Raider golf program,” commented Northwestern head coach Aaron Aberson. “He’s a very good athlete that should help him quickly acclimate to the college golf game. I’m looking forward to seeing his growth on and off the course during his time at Northwestern.”
