Sutton Schlumbohm of Rock Rapids has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Northwestern College beginning next fall.
Schlumbohm is a 5’8″ guard who is in her fourth year playing for the Central Lyon High School basketball team. Schlumbohm is currently averaging seven points per game and ranks sixth in the Siouxland Conference with 69 assists for a 16-5 Lions team. She is a two-time all-conference pick and ranks 10th all-time at Central Lyon with 613 career points. Also a letter winner in volleyball and state qualifier in track and field, Schlumbohm was part of a 4×200 relay that won the state title as a junior. An honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Schlumbohm is the daughter of Lance and Jill.
