Sheldon, Iowa — The Sheldon 7 grade football team ended the year with a 40-22 setback to Sioux Center at Orab Field. Shane Brouwer led Sheldon in rushing with 9 attempts for 86 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Cason Johannes scored a third rushing touchdown as part of 5 carries for 31 yards.
Defensively Johannes led Sheldon in tackles with 7 while Joe Kim and Dallas Kuiper had 5 tackles each. Ethan Mouw intercepted a pass to help the defensive effort. The Sheldon 7th graders finished the season at 2-4 improving their football fundamentals along the way.
