Northwest Iowa — Central Lyon and Sibley Ocheyedan played host to Siouxland Conference golf meets Tuesday. In the boys meet hosted by the Lions Sioux Center posted a 151 to win a tie breaker over Central Lyon. Sheldon was third at 153 winning a tie breaker over Sibley Ocheyedan. MOC Floyd Valley put together a team total 155 to round out the top five.
Medalist honors went to Ethan Mino of Sibley Ocheyedan with a two-under 33. Brandt Boekhout of Central Lyon was next at 34 with Devon Johnson of Sheldon and Matt Van Engen of Sioux Center both at 35. Branden De Boer of Sioux Center and Tate Arends of MOC Floyd Valley were both in at 37.

2015 Siouxland Conference Boys Golf – CL Team Results 4-28
In girls golf hosted by Sibley Ocheyedan MOC Floyd Valley was one stroke better than their hosts 202 – 203 over the Lady Generals. Rock Valley was third at 219 followed by Sheldon at 225 and Central Lyon at 226 to round out the top five.
Medalist honors went to Alex Mankle of Okoboji at 38 followed by Rachel Abele of Sheldon at 48. Sarah Honken of Sibley Ocheyedan fired a 49. Brooke Wiersma and Alexa Arends of MOC Floyd Valley along with Megan Grimes of Sibley Ocheyedan were all at 50.
