Sheldon South O’Brien Wrestler Jarrett Roos fulfilled his destiny as a number one seed with a state title at 190 pounds in Class 2A at this years State Wrestling Tournament in Des Moines. Roos Received a first round bye then recorded a Fall in 2:13 in the second round. In the quarterfinals it was a 7-4 decision. In the semis Jarrett won a 10-5 decision. For the Championship it was a 4-2 win in a match where he never trailed.
Also claiming a title was Jesse Lewis of West Sioux. He took the Class 1A 126 pound championship with a 14-3 major decision.
