Tye Sudbeck (Sheldon, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College.
Sudbeck is a 6’1 shooting guard who is in his third season playing for Sheldon High School. Sudbeck currently leads the Orabs in scoring (13ppg) and is second in rebounding (5rpg) through the first eight games of the season. He ranks second in the Siouxland Conference with 19 three-pointers, shooting 34% from beyond the arc. Last season, Sudbeck earned third team all-conference honors after leading Sheldon in scoring (13.4ppg) and three-pointers made (60).
“We are glad to have Tye join us next fall,” commented Northwestern Head Coach Kris Korver. “Tye had a solid junior season and is off to a good start to his senior year. He has the ability to knock down shots and understands the game well. Tye possesses strong work ethic and his love for the game pushes him to be his very best. It will be great to have Tye join our Northwestern men’s basketball program.”
Sudbeck is the son of Brad and Lisa.
