(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Volleyball players-of-the-week for contests played January 24-30, 2021. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2021-2022 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Attacker – Caleb Kulesza, Dordt University (Right Side)
Caleb Kulesza of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Kulesza, a junior, from Chicago, Illinois, had 25 kills on the week with a .556 attacking percentage. He also added seven service aces and 15 digs. He averaged just over four kills per set as the Defenders went 2-0 on the week.
Setter- Boris Le, Dordt University
Boris Le of Dordt University is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Le, a sophomore, from Melbourne, Australia, had 65 assists, four kills, seven digs, and three blocks in a pair of wins for the Defenders. He averaged 10.8 assists per set.
